Wild Tots, a restaurant and play area, opened on Sunday 22nd October in Barons Quay, taking over the unit previously home to Sticky Paws.
It’s the perfect place to go to meet friends or to treat your children to after they have been around the shops in Northwich. Grab a coffee, then an ice cream, and let them play for an hour or two. It’s a great concept!
Their adventure play is designed to ignite the imagination, promote active play, and provide a safe and enjoyable environment for kids to have fun and families to relax.
It is a simple but effective play area with nets to climb, a super fast slide, a pretend grassy mound to climb over, or crawl through. Plus, a toddler play area with soft slides and foam shapes, making it a very safe environment for them to play in.
My girls are 9 and 12. My 12 year old is at the top age now and was too old for the place. It’s perfect for younger children, though, in so many ways.
The cafe and seating area takes up over half of the venue, on the ground floor or 1st floor with a viewing gallery so you can still keep an eye on your children.
The place has a new, fresh style to it. It’s very geared up for children with all the safety and facilities every parent would hope for in a venue.
The menu includes a wide range of options for children. A Nipper plate for toddlers for £4 which is ham, cheese, egg, and vegis. Then bigger meals like burgers, pizza, pasta, and dippers from £5. There is also a whole freezer of delicious ice cream on offer.
At the helm is Carl Fraenkl-Rietti, who has two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. Wild Tots will host new culinary delights, events and activities for younger visitors. The same team are also behind the brand new Dockyard which is a pool and shuffleboard venue and open soon in Barons Quay.
