Victors Restaurant Hale Review

I love eating out as a family, but I often find going out for food with children quite hard work and there always seems to be a bit of a compromise. Usually, in order to find a restaurant that has a child friendly menu and is good with children, the compromise comes with the adult food not being quite what we would choose to eat ourselves.

We recently were invited down to Victors in Hale and we felt it had the perfect balance of both, an amazing menu for the children and great quality food in a lovely restaurant for my husband and I.

I’ve always loved Victors, for date night or dinner with the girls on the weekend, it’s an amazing place that has a lovely atmosphere and serves consistently great quality food. This visit however, was our first time with the children. If you go for lunch or an early dinner- we went at 4.30/5pm then it’s the perfect place to take your children.

Our little girl loved the décor, she was amazed by all the flowers hanging from the ceiling, the bench seating and there was even an acoustic guitarist and singer, so it felt like such a treat to our usual pizza restaurant. Victors have a great offer all year round, where they are offering one free 2-course kids meal with every full price paying adult, from Monday to Thursday and until 5pm on Fridays.

We loved how the menu was packed with tasty and nutritious options to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters, it was nice to see some options for more adventurous children too and not just the standard fish finger/chicken nugget offering which has become very common. From sushi rolls and squid rings to our all-time favourite ‘lil beef burgers and popcorn chicken and classics like brownie and Ice cream for dessert.

The adult mains start from £17 but the quality and standard of the food is well worth the price and this combined with the kids eat free offer makes it a very reasonable family out. So if you are after a touch of luxury, at a very reasonable price book Victors and let us know what you think!
