We were kindly invited to the Botantist in Knutsford. As it was close to my daughters 12th birthday, we used this fantastic opportunity to go to the Botanist for her birthday meal. It is the perfect place for those special family meals.
The Botanist is along the bottom street in the beautiful town of Knutsford. There are so many goregous places to visit and eat, so the Botanist fits right in with its trendy decor and famous hanging kebabs.

The starters were amazing. It was a struggle to choose as there are just so many interesting choices. They do a sharing board with a few different starters, so next time, I would love to try that.
The Botanist is famous for its hanging kebabs. They are super impressive, and the variety on offer is fantastic. They have a few chicken options, thai prawn, haloumi, and vegetarian ones too. We squeezed in pudding. My nutty banana split was a great combination of flavours. Sitting on top of the sliced banana was a sugar crust like on a creme brulee. Paired with the chopped nuts and ice cream, it really was yummy. It would be great to see this on the adult menu, too.
What our children ordered:
From the children’s menu, Chicken Burger, mashed potato, the baked beans & salad came in their own mini plant pots, which were so cute. My daughter loved this added feature to how her meal was served.
Brownie with biscoff, Curly Wurly sauce and vanilla icecream.
The birthday girl chose the Giant Piri Piri Chicken Kebab, and she upgraded to chunky chips, which were goregous. It also came with corn on the cob & coleslaw. It definitely packed a punch with the piri piri sauce.
Knickerbockerglory for dessert, which was the prettiest pudding.
The decor of the Botanist is quirky while being sophisticated with rustic walls and a multitude of lights and signs.
Its a fabulous place to have a special family meal or even a girls’night out with their brilliant selection of wines & beers.
The cocktail menu looked jam packed with tantilising drinks on offer too.
