On Tuesday we headed to Quarrendon Quackers toddler group in Aylesbury. The session runs every Tuesday from 9:30 – 11am term time at the Quarrendon and Meadowcroft community Centre.
The Quackers group has been running for years and years, but last year it was taken over by Jo who now runs the sessions.
There is a huge range of (clean) toys including ride ons, slides, play tents, soft play blocks, role play toys and lots of cars, trains and tractors.
There is also a baby section and each week there is a different craft activity set up so there is plenty for your little ones to do.
There is tea, coffee and squash available throughout the session. During the session there is snack time where Jo provides a huge range of snacks and all the kids sit round a huge table and have some food together – this was definitely the highlight for Parker The best bit is there is always a yummy (and often) homemade cake for the grown ups!
I found there was a mix of ages at the session so it was ideal for all pre school ages, and the toys were varied enough to suit all tastes! At the end of the session Jo runs a little music session and the kids sung and danced to some childrens classics! Baby shark was of course included.
This session is only £3 per child (Jan 2023), and for the length of time, number of activities and snacks given I thought this was fantastic value for money. Jo has done a great job of taking this over and was friendly and welcoming which was great when going to the session for the first time, I felt immediately at ease.
We will definitely be back!
