Great for children learning their bike or scooter!
We discovered this playground and park in Monks Risborough last year and regularly go back and meet friends there. Not only is it a playground for all ages but also a park area to run and the best bit is a sports court with road markings for bikes and scooters!
We found this was a great space for our children to get going on their balance bikes and learn their peddle bike too as it has a very very slight slope just to keep them moving!
It has roundabouts, zebra crossings and two way road markings which are so much fun to play on. It also has basketball hoops both ends for bigger kids.
Some of you may know that we have adult scooters in our house too so we take ours for a bit of family fun! Even grandad had a go the other week, it was scary.
The Playground
This playground is gated and has another mini gated play area for toddlers within it too. It has a huge range of things to do including a decent zip line, 360 swings, double swings, bucket swings, weird stand up skateboard thing which I nearly died on…
Also has the familiar wooden obstacle course equipment and climbing frame with slide. In the Autumn and Winter it gets REALLY REALLY MUDDY and is definitely a welly boot and puddle suit park as it is mostly grass throughout.
There is a little toddler section with very small climbing frame, baby swings, rockers etc which is great for toddlers who are just starting to walk and climb.
Facilities
There are several benches around the park and a path going from one side to the other. There are shops within walking distance (I am told) but no toilets or facilities nearby.
We park on the adjacent road (Mill Lane) which is residential but lots of space.
Where is it?

(My children loved this seesaw as it holds three people!)
