Then look no further than WWT Slimbridge! They’ve got daily activities and events perfect for adventurers and nature lovers of all ages.

Canoe Safaris – Grab a paddle and spot wildlife from the water on a fun, kilometre long, Canoe Safari trail. Sit back and relax as you look out for wildlife along the way such as dragonflies, warblers, ducks and maybe even water voles if you’re really lucky! £10 per canoe. Children must be aged 3+ and canoes must have at least 1 adult. 11am – 4pm, Canoe Hut.

Quentin Blake Trail – Re-imagine the Wetlands through the eyes of Quentin Blake and take our brand new trail. 9.30am – 5.30pm, pick up a guide at admissions.

Make a Butterfly Feeder – Visit the Spring Time Science Show to learn about spring life and make your own Butterfly Feeder to take home. 11am, Living Wetland Theatre.

Pond Dipping – Explore the thrilling underwater world of ponds with our guided daily Pond Dipping. 2-3pm, Pond Zone.

Visit the Ducklings – Peek behind the scenes of our duckery and see the eggs and ducklings being raised. Plus learn how Sir Peter Scott saved the world’s rarest goose (the nene) from extinction. 11am – 3pm, Mission Possible.
