As part of the 2023 Reading Children’ Festival, The Abbey is hosting the Reading Festival of Sport on 20 May. Following on from the success of last year’s festival, that was enjoyed by over 1,000 students across Reading, a fun packed morning will await Nursery – Year 2 children. We are delighted to announce our guest for the event will be Commonwealth gold winning medalist gymnast, Kelly Simms.

Nursery and Reception children can look forward to enjoying a session each of both gym and dance, whereas Years 1 and 2 will participant in Touch Rugby, Netball, Gym and Cricket.

Parents must stay for the event, but refreshments will be provided. Once booked, you will receive instructions about the day closer to the event.
