Cheshire & Manchester Christmas Markets & Fairs 2023
Manchester Christmas Markets – 10th Nov – 21st Dec
With over 225 stalls across nine sites throughout the city centre this year’s Christmas markets will see the iconic ski chalet market stalls take over Piccadilly Gardens – once again set to be transformed into the Winter Gardens – as well as Market Street, Cathedral Gardens, Exchange Street, New Cathedral Street, St Ann’s Square, Exchange Square, The Corn Exchange and King Street.

Chester Christmas Market – 17th Nov – 21st Dec
Chester’s magical Christmas market with 70 traditional wooden chalets in the streets of Chester surrounding a signature sparkling, Christmas tree.
Wilmslow Artisan Market – 18th Nov & 16th Dec
Wilmslow Artisan Market takes place on the third Saturday every month. The November event coincides with the festive light switch-on event in Bank Square. While the December market takes place on the last Saturday before Christmas, perfect for picking up some last minute treats or gifts.

Arley Hall & Gardens Shopping Spectacular – 21st – 23rd November
The Christmas Shopping Spectacular brings together a fabulous array of over 75 hand-picked exquisite stalls offering delicious food and stunning gifts and treats for all, from stocking fillers to that extra special present. Arley acts as the host venue only for this event, all trader enquiries and ticket bookings should be made via The Joshua Tree
Warrington Christmas Market at Warrington Weekend Wonderland – 25th & 26th Nov
A whole weekend of Christmas activity and events taking place across Warrington Town Centre which includes a Christmas artisan market with 70 Christmas market stalls along Bridge Street, Marketgate, Buttermarket Street and into the Time Square Quarter.
Sandbach Christmas Market – 1st Dec
There will be more than 100 stalls to explore around the market square, High Street and Market Hall. Also enjoy the smell of roasting chestnuts, whilst listening to the carol singers and sipping on mulled wine.
Tatton Park Christmas Gift Fair – 1-3rd Dec
Explore the Tenants Hall inside the stately mansion house, which is not usually open to the public. As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a festive atmosphere, twinkling lights & a variety of local suppliers selling everything from jewelry to candles and crafts to gin. FREE ENTRY
Rode Hall Christmas Market – Rode Hall Farmers Market -2nd Dec
The Christmas Market will be full of mistletoe, mulled wine & mince pies! There will be over 80 artisan food & craft stalls. The Rode Hall Silver Band will be playing alongside Smallwood School Choir and the courtyard kitchen will be open serving breakfasts, brunches & seasonal treats.
Knutsford Christmas Market – 2nd & 3rd Dec
Knutsford Christmas Market will be back to kick off the festive season on 2nd and 3rd December, featuring a two-day street market packed full of the finest local artisan food, drinks, art, jewellery, crafts and special gifts. You can enjoy Santa’s Grotto on Silk Mill Street all weekend
Alderley Edge – 2nd Dec
In the grounds of the church, you will find the Independent Street Artisan Markets, who champion small and independent business. There will be 50 carefully selected stalls showcasing the very best of local food, drink, arts and craft, plus street food and many gift ideas set to inspire. There will also be live acoustic performances from local musicians and choirs.
Holmes Chapel Christmas Market & Fair – 3rd Dec
The closed off streets are filled with small businesses selling food, drink, crafts & gifts for Christmas. Live performaces from dancers & singers. Fairground rides and Santa on his sleigh.
Hayhurst Arms (Middlewich) – 9th Dec
An outdoor Christmas market, with array of Cheshire based stall holders, ‘Forest’ distillery will be joining with their award-winning gin. There will be live music, hot and festive food, mulled wine, and an outside bar for you to get stuck into, getting right into them festive feels.
Northwich Artisan Market – Sat 9th Dec
