Sticky Paws in the Flavour Forest

Sticky Paws has been designed by the team behind the award winning Cheshire visitor attraction, The Ice Cream Farm.  Their aim was to bring together a family dining and play experience that balances the wants and needs of children with the service, quality and satisfaction to make it an enjoyable experience for adults too.  They certainly pulled it off and tick all the boxes.

Local mum Jenny aka daysoutmealsout on Instagram, shares her highlights.  Sticky Paws really is easy for parents to relax and let kids be kids.  There is a big area for the children to run and play just next to the seating area.  There are rope bridges, tunnels through grassy hills, a snow mountain slide and lots of nets to climb.  It’s a little like soft play but with a mix of hard and soft surfaces to explore.

The recommended age is for 0-8s and we found it stretched further for our girls.  If you’ve got little ones, there’s a dedicated area for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years to keep a closer eye on them.  There’s no extra charge either.

We visited Sticky Paws on a Saturday afternoon on a 4pm slot.   We booked a table ahead of time and noticed that they were sold out of earlier time slots as it was a really rainy day. It’s the perfect place to visit when the weather is awful so definitely worth planning ahead.

Sticky Paws has a great menu, full of small bowls which are great for sharing, including pizza bites, chicken goujons, corn on the cob lollipops, pasta and more, plus breakfast items if you’re there nice and early.

They also serve hot and cold drinks.  We ordered bottomless hot drinks for us, which they deliver to you in a mug and then you can help yourself to the hot drinks machine in the restaurant.  There is also bottomless squash for the kids which is great when they’re running around playing so much.

Don’t forget the famous “ice cream farm” ice creams which are on display with over 20 different flavours.  You don’t need to leave the table to order any food as you are given a tablet with the serving app on. You can just keep ordering whenever you want more.  When you’re ready to leave you simple take the tablet to the till and pay for everything you have ordered.

Our girls enjoyed playing and it was much better than going out for a meal and having them ask to go on a device.
