Tear your teens away from their screens and dive into a computer game! We had a brilliant time at the PAC-MAN Live Experience in Manchester. This immersive Manchester attraction transforms the classic arcade game into a real-life adventure, offering a unique experience for both kids and nostalgic adults. A high energy experience – make sure you have your comfy trainers on!
PAC-MAN Experience Live Immersive Gameplay
First up we all got PAC-Vests with our names on to transform us into the iconic PAC-MAN. Our PAC-Master then got us all together to build the excitement before slotting a giant coin in to open the door to arena.
It’s huge – with two massive PAC-MAN courts and with lighting effects and sound it’s totally immersive. The arena utilises state-of-the-art projection mapping and tracking technology to create dynamic visuals on the floors and walls, simulating the classic game’s environment.
You’re all competing against each with short intensive levels, racing around to collect points, dodge the ghosts and collect the extra points. It definitely got competition with my 14 year old racing at speed the moment he spotted a coin or cherry! The PAC-Vests are great with the vibrate as you got caught by a ghost and as you run over the dots, coins and other special things to collect, they the disappear.
It’s not only the floor which lights up but the walls are are lit like you’re in a stadium with full on sound affects and a scoreboard to keep track.
Our PAC-Master was brilliant, very much like a game show host and referee, he keept the excitement and momentum up.
Designed for ages 8 and up, this was a great family experience for us. It would also work really well for a hen or stag party activity, work night out or just something different to do with your mates. The combination of physical activity and interactive gameplay ensures that everyone stays engaged and we left with big smiles on our faces.
