Northern mum Jessica and son Lucas visited Lower Drayton Pumpkin Patch and have kindly shared their review. Do check out her Instagram account @lucasblaine_andmummy, she has the most wonderful photos.
If you’re anything like myself since becoming a mum once October hits I just have to attend a pumpkin patch! Lower Drayton Pumpkin Patch is perfect!
When we arrived we were directed to a tent where we could await our tractor ride, but whilst we waited we could go to the photo booth area which included a giant spider, and pumpkins.
We could also go around the farm to see the animals whilst we waited. Once the tractor arrives we hopped onto the trailer and we’re taken over to a field of 12 acres of pumpkins!
We were able to take a pumpkin for each ticket holder- not only that but we also got a bag to pick our own carrots! You could either pull them from the ground yourself or you could get some carrots that had already been pulled from the ground!
You could then also get some corn and sunflowers whilst getting your pumpkins.
Once you had finished picking your pumpkins, carrots, corn and sunflowers the tractor would take you back to the tent where you could choose if you wanted to carve your pumpkins there or take them home to carve. You could also pick up some refreshments from their refreshment van.
Honestly a 10/10 pumpkin picking experience, we had the best time!
