ISCA’s one-week summer camp is for children aged from 11 to 14 years and provides a transformational educational experience designed to tie in with the Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 KS3 History Curriculum.
The camp will run from 9 – 30 July 2023 and be based at the prestigious Charterhouse School in Surrey. Arranged and managed by ISCA, it will include the chance to explore over 15 historic and cultural sights in Southern England, allowing all the children taking part to experience and learn about the amazing history and culture of the UK in a fun and interactive way.
Sights include: Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Houses of Parliament, Stratford-upon-Avon, Canterbury, Hampton Court Palace, London Eye, Covent Garden and more!
The programme is not just about exploring new places, but also about meeting new friends. ISCA’s campus environment gives the pupils a break from touring and allows them to take part in sports and activities, encouraging new friendships to be formed at all times.
ISCA welcomes 11 to 14-year-olds not only from the UK, but also from across Europe, allowing our pupils to explore the most iconic historic and cultural sights in England and also learn about different cultures from their peers.
The camp costs £1,450 per child, which includes –
- Eight nights’ accommodation at Charterhouse School
- Entrance fees to over 15 historic and cultural sights
- A ticket to a West End show
- Breakfast and dinner every day
- Lunch on seven of the days
- All activities and sports on campus
- Staffing at a ratio of 1:5
- All transport during the programme
- An ISCA T-shirt
- An ISCA Explorer course book and activity booklet

COVID-19 Considerations
ISCA has specifically designed the whole experience to fit around the current situation. While places on the summer camp can be booked by registering online and paying a £500 deposit, this deposit will be fully refundable if UK government guidelines force the summer camp to be cancelled due to COVID-19.
