VE Day in Bramhall

10 May @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Free

Worker Bee Markets special event in the centre of Bramhall Village celebrates the 80th Anniversary of VE Day with a pop-up market where the traders are dressing up in 1940s outfits.

There’ll be free crafting for kids from new maker Mem & Me, including decorating a plaster donut and making V E Day pom-poms as well as creating bug pebbles with Sustainable Bramhall.

Take part in close-up magic tricks by local magician Simon Hobday and browse 45+ stalls of locally produced food, crafts, gifts, homeware and garden inspiration.

The market is followed by a Historical Book Event at Bramhall Methodist Church where Dr Tessa Dunlop, author of LEST WE FORGET, will introduce local veterans to bring the Second World War to life.

Entry, as always, is free, to the market and activities. Tickets for the Book Event are £6 each. Book online
