We stumbled across a fantastic playground where you literally could spend the whole morning with enough to occupy the children, plus safely enclosed so no chance of escapees. There’s also the Aldershot Garrison cafe and soft play so you can combine an indoor and outdoor adventure.
We are huge fans of wooden playgrounds and this one didn’t disappoint at all. (Although the grass can be a little boggy if we’ve had wet weather so bare that in mind) Upon first arriving Bella didn’t know where to start as there was so much to explore, it was like a playground heaven.
Heading straight to the main wooden climbing frame which had the cutest little house on it too. There were various ways to conquer this, would they choose the rope ladder, wobbly bridge or play it safe and choose the stairs.
Then the adventure begins balancing your way along the beams to explore the slides and the fireman’s pole. Bella absolutely loved this, and was the perfect size for her to move around. She was a huge fan of the giant spiders web which she could climb on.
There was a huge selection of equipment to choose from, the usual swings, basket swing, sea saw, roundabout and wooden trim trail. Bella was over the moon to see the spinning seats aswell, something so simple but proves to be one of her favourites. She literally spins round and round as fast as she can literally squealing with delight the faster I spun her.
For the smaller children there was also a little tree house which they could explore and also consisted of a slide too. This was great as was a perfect height for the children and adults could easily watch them too.
Just outside of the playground there was also a zip wire. A lot of fun that even I had to give this a go too, Bella is a little daredevil and was literally zooming down to the end on the zip line. We love it when playground have these, helps to build their confidence and it’s great to hear Bella having fun and giggling away whilst enjoying it.
This was such a great playground as they have literally thought of everything which younger and older children can enjoy. Plus around the playground is also benches so you can sit and watch whilst the children play and enjoy themselves
